The rise of Dyson brand
Dyson Ltd is a British technological company that is responsible for the designing and production of vacuum cleaners, bladeless fans, air conditioning units amongst many others.
Besides that, the company is in charge of the supply and distribution of machines in well over 70 countries and has well over 7500 employees globally.
How did the company start?
The company began when James Dyson came across complications with the conventional wheelbarrow design that he was using when performing upgrades to his property.
He discovered that it had complications and would often sink into the mud, thereby making it impossible to complete his DIY tasks. Furthermore, James also didn’t like the steel body of the wheelbarrows that affected his work and would often suffer from the consequence of dried cement.
For this reason, James Dyson developed the first fibreglass wheelbarrow prototype in 1974, with a ball instead of the traditional wheel and was referred to as the ball barrow.
During late 1974, James procured a vacuum cleaner to assist in his home hygiene tasks. However, the vacuum cleaner was weak and lost suction power after an extended duration of use. Upon opening the vacuum cleaner to investigate, he came across a collection of dirt inside that was hampering the functionality of the vacuum cleaner. In fact, the machine would only function well for a significant amount of time and would require a new bag after that.
During his visit to a local sawmill, Dyson realised how the sawdust was removed from the air by large industrial waste mechanisms. These machines used individual separators and unique dirt collection methods as well.
This unique dirt and dust separation methods were not used on a small scale due to the higher cost and immense sophistication as well. However, James Dyson managed to implement the same methods on a much smaller scale and found that it was more efficient than the conventional vacuum design.
In 1985, a Japanese based company saw the uniqueness of Dysons design and in early 1986, a better version of his designs was introduced into the consumer market. In 1991, his designs won individual awards in Japan and became a mainstay in the hygiene industry.
Using the Income from his Japanese business affiliations, Dyson established his company Dyson Appliances LTD. In fact, the first dual cyclone vacuum cleaner was launched under his company and co-produced by an American based company known as Philips plastics.
However, due to quality concerns, Dyson opted to set up a new production company in England with their first vacuum cleaning products hitting the consumer market in late 1993. Since then, the company has gone on to pioneer various excellent contrivances that are mainstays in the consumer market including bladeless fans, air multipliers along with a bevvy of research processes in the robotics industry to be used in the proper household compartment.
Finally, Dyson brand is a company that started from humble beginnings and is now by far one the largest companies when it comes to the production of household contrivances. Most of their products are always of high quality and would, therefore, make an excellent investment for your unique needs.
